David joined ZBD in 2003 and is responsible for developing the company’s overall product strategy. His key focus is the delivery of ZBD’s unique LCD technology into a wireless solution capable of integrating into a diverse range of retail and non-retail applications.

David has over 20 years’ experience in the design and development of hardware and software-based solutions, specialising in low cost, power-efficient wireless communications. He previously worked for Red-M, a start-up venture focused on developing solutions in the control and management of wireless networking where he was responsible for the introduction of a world leading Bluetooth wireless voice and data network solution. David can also be credited with building the world’s first commercial Bluetooth module for PDAs.

Prior to Red-M, David was Head of Product Development for Specialix International, and McDonnell Douglas Information Systems in the US before that.

David’s wealth of experience in taking concept ideas, developing them into products, and ultimately introducing them into volume manufacture means he is perfectly placed to drive ZBD’s product strategy forward.
