ZBD forms strategic partnership with ePLUM provider Invatron Systems Corp.

ZBD, the epaper for retail specialist, has announced a partnership with Invatron Systems Corp., a leading provider of integrated retail enterprise software solutions focusing on fresh departments within grocery stores. The two companies have worked together to integrate ZBD’s electronic shelf labeling system with Invatron’s ePLUM Scale Management solution and will focus specifically on the fresh departments of grocery retailers.

ePLUM Scale Management can be used to distribute time-sensitive data and product information to ZBD’s electronic price tags at the same time the fresh department weigh scales are updated. This will ensure compliance of pricing, description, Country of Origin and other important text and/or graphics to the customer-facing shelf displays. Retailers can now minimise the effort and costs associated with printed signage and manual deployment in favour of dynamic pricing, promotions and product information through the ePLUM/ZBD integration.
