In April 2010 ZBD and ILID, the Australian ESL company, entered into a strategic partnership that sees elements of both companies' retail display solutions combined to deliver an innovative solution powered by the ZBD Bounce RF communication system and data management applications.
The partnership sees ILID integrating ZBD's proprietary 'Bounce' RF Communications as the platform to drive both the Segmented Dot Matrix (SDM) labels as well as the ZBD epop range of epaper labels. ILID acts as the exclusive sales agent for ZBD's epaper labels in the Australasian region.
Both companies seek to provide a combined cost-effective value-add proposition for retailers looking to jump shift their retail operations through electronic shelf labels.
